Hawkeyed with Dave O’Hara Sports™

 – In Episode Six of Hawkeyed with Dave O’Hara, Dave starts off the show with a quick opening monologue, talking about the show guest lineup and then chats with show sponsor Joe Merschman, president and CEO of Merschman Seeds. publisher/reporter David Eickholt joins Dave to wrap up the first segment discussing the Hawks 35-21 win over Illinois and previewing the Wisconsin at Iowa football game, as well as the past and upcoming games for the U of Iowa 3rd ranked mens basketball team. Segment two is Dave talking with former Hawkeye quarterback James Vandenberg. They discuss Vandenberg’s analysis of current Iowa quarterback Spencer Petras and the very accurate predictions that James made in the Hawks win over Illinois. Also, James talks about his playing days against Wisconsin and gives his new predictions for the upcoming Badgers at Hawks game. Segment three features Hawkeyes all-time leading rebounder Geg Brunner, filling in for Jeff Horner a former Hawkeye mens basketball playing great and current Truman State University mens basketball head coach. Greg discusses with Dave the early season wins for the top 5 nationally ranked Hawkeyes and Brunner gives his analysis of Hawks star Luka Garza. Brunner also updates O’Hara about his life since his playing days ended at the U of Iowa. Dave then closes out segment three and his show with thank yous for guests, advertisers and viewers.
